Technopolymers, polymers for engineering or engineering plastics, are polymers which have high physical – mechanical properties (stiffness, toughness, flexibility, workability, high-temperature strenght and resistance to static and dynamic loads, and also to ageing). These allow their use in substitution to common metals.
Technopolymers ,which are mainly thermoplastic, have a crystal clear or colourless structure and they can become transparent in case of stretching treatments.
